Pree-show interview
Grace was Interviewed in the TODAY show's green room by Donna Farizan
She talked about her songwriting process: "A cord or one word can spark up some inspiration"
And about when Taylor Swift sent her flowers: "It was amazing, we came back to the hotel room and there was this giant bouquet, and there as a letter, and it was signed "Taylor", and I was like – Taylor? Who is that? And then my mom says – Oh my God, it's Taylor Swift, who else would just sign it "Taylor"!?"
She talked about the upcoming Vegas AGT shows and what she will be singing: "there will be songs I didn't sing at AGT but wanted to, but you only get a few performances, and you have to make every single one of them count."
She went to an Adele concert the night before "it was amazing, it's one of the best concerts I have ever been to. She interacts with people. And I never knew how funny Adell is." Grace had been singing along all night, so she was very hoarse (and therefore didn’t want to sing in the interview). Her favorite Adele song she said was "One And Only" (Which she would cover every night at the Las Vegas shows.)
And finally, she gave advice for advice for girls or boys out there who have a dream but are afraid to pursue it: "Patience. I believe in fate. Everyone has their path from the second they are born, and if that's you path, it will come, so wait, it will come if it is supposed to happen".
