Interview with Numéro Netherlands

Link to Article

Grace was interviewed by editorial director Jana Letonja for Numéro Netherlands. The fairly short interview touched on the Childstar album and tour, and on Megalopolis. Grace gave a somewhat more positive spin on her experience in the industry than in some of her previous interviews: "I’ve loved everyone I’ve worked with throughout my career, and I love who I’m working with now. The difference is that I feel like I now have the experience and tools to confidently bring my ideas to life in a way I couldn’t before." [Q: How has growing up in the spotlight shaped your perspective on fame?] "I think it’s been a positive experience overall. Being around incredibly talented and experienced people from such a young age helped me grow. As a kid, I adapted quickly. It was the only environment I knew, so it never felt foreign to me” The photographer, Kolby Knight, posted a cool video on his Instagram – not behind the scenes from the shoot, but as a companion to the article with a voice-over by Grace talking about how it feels to feel confident. The stylist was Sarah Slutsky, who did most of Grace’s styling in this period. Numero was founded by Elisabeth Dijan. In an interview with The Sunday Times in 2008, she explained: "I was bored with magazines that told me how to seduce a man. I wanted to create this magazine for an intelligent, smart woman who wants to read about art, design, music: not about stupidity – creams that take away wrinkles, you know, which is stupid." The magazine had local versions in France, Japan, China, Thailand, Russia, Germany, Brazil and the Netherlands. (all from Wikipedia, retrieved April 2025.

Anmouncing virtual performance

Grace announced that she would do a live paye-per-view performance on the startup live music streaming service "Vier Live", on April 30.
Grace wrote: "Guys, I truly think this is such a cool and immersive experience for you to see the album in a new way. It’s 100% live. With a set and choreo and everything. The performance will include 5 songs from the album for you to enjoy and experience WHEREVER you are."

Vier was at the time described as still in the pre-seed stage of funding, and was very small operation with less than 10 employees.
