Curtian talk for VIER performance
The 7-minute curtain talk on May 23rd took place in a hotel room, presumably in L.A. Grace was new to the App VIER provides to the artists and she wasn’t quite sure when she was actually live, even though she had had a zoom-call with VIER to learn how to operate it. She was also confused that she couldn’t se the live comments (which the viewers could see). She explained that she didn’t want to repackage the “CHILDSTAR Final Act” video but still wanted to be true to the story line. She thought it would be cool to do an “underwater” thing. “People often describe anxiety as drowning, so drowning and then come out of the water, but in a subtle way. Bu no puppet fish behind me!” But at that point (the day before the live show) she didn’t know, as she hadn’t rehearsed anything yet. She had never done anything like this before, with camera angles and production value – but live. Grace said that she considered this the wrapping of the CHILDSTAR tour and she wouldn’t be doing any more perfo0rmances in a while – or at least for two weeks.
