Justin Trantor podcast published
Together with her cowriter Eren Cannata, Grace was a guest on Justin Trantor's ''Unfamous'' podcast. ''Each episode pairs a celebrity with the collaborator who helped shape their biggest moments in music, comedy, film, television, fashion, and entertainment.'' (from the Podcast's start page on Spotify)
Trantor was a cowriter on “I don’t like you'' and on three songs that were never produced or released “Selfish'', “Tennis Court'', and “What we’re fighting for'' (all provisional titles). He is (by March 2026) the only cowriter Grace has worked with both under her Columbia contact and after she signed with Pulse. The podcast series was teased online on March 4, 2026 (with a short clip of Grace in the mix), and probably recorded sometime during the winter.
From the teaser it is clear that some of what Grace said has been edited out and several times when there is a question that would have been obvious for Grace to answer, we only get Erans answer. But they are alle having great fun together.
As part of on answer to a question about her songwriting process, Grace said I write to stay alive
Grace explained that when she was younger, and in a songwriting session, she would tuck down in a corner and write the song, the ''co-writer'' would then suggest a few changes and ''boom – own 25% of the song''. Now it's more collaborative.
When asked about a song that was important to her, Grace answers: ''''A song that literally changed everything for me: I was probably like 14 and I heard bad religion by Frank Ocean, and I was like – 'notes can be surprising!'' (Grace covered the song in March 2020)
Asked about her idea of success when she was young and how has it changed now, Grace answered: ''You can tell pretty easily from my brand or looking at what I do, that I am still heavily figuring it out, I'm kind of all over the place. It's heavily fluctuating and changing for me at all times. ''
She and Eran also talked about the album in general, and about ''Fade'', ''Behavioral problems'' and ''Brand New''. (See the album page and the pages for the individual songs)
