Performance [523] 9-May-2025 (Childstar Tour - Headliner)

Notes

The show at The Atlantis in DC was the third show on the Childstar tour. Grace’s family was there, and Grace dedicated “Ur So Beautiful” to her mother.

Long-time Grace supporter Clair went to both the DC and New York shows and has given us this account: "I was lucky enough to attend two shows on Grace’s early summer tour this year; first in Washington D.C. and again the next night in New York City.

The two shows had the exact same set but very different experiences, and I was privileged to have two points of view.

Night one was intimate. Having purchased VIP, I was second in line at the venue and was able to get front row at the barricade. I was pretty much right in Grace’s face.
Night two was on a larger scale. The NYC show was packed full. I stood up on the balcony, and the view was incredible. I saw a version that was intended to be seen from a bird's-eye view. The crowd was the best I’d heard so far, and Grace herself was elated to be back home. Her confidence was at an all-time high.

There was no band for any show on this tour. Many like myself may miss days of old where Grace embarked on her tours with Nolan, Melissa, and Ben, but times have changed.

Despite the lack of a band, the dancers, costumes, and light show more than exceeded my expectations. I forgot what I was missing. The production for this tour may have been on a budget, but it didn’t show for a second once the lights went down. I can’t put into words exactly how the experience resonated with me, only that I was buzzing for days afterwards. Grace is a once-in-a-generation performer.

Having seen her twice prior, during the USB Tour in 2019, and witnessing the ill-fated final show, I can truly say this year she was back better than ever.

This is her at her best. She was radiant, she was excited, her voice the strongest it’s been in years. If you missed CHILDSTAR on tour, start saving up your money for next time. If this little tour was indicative of anything, it’s that you’re not going to want to miss the next one."
